There's no Metrolink service on the following Holidays:
New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

All Metrolink stations have ticket vending machines (TVMs) from which you may purchase tickets and passes. TVMs accept cash, VISA, MasterCard, Novus Discover, and ATM cards with the Explore, Interlink, or Maestro symbols. You must have a valid ticket before you board Metrolink. Metrolink uses the "honor" system, and tickets are not collected. You must show your ticket to the conductor or fare verifier on request.
Passengers without a valid ticket are subject to citation and fine.
